Cooperative Service Center is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join our team and support data-driven initiatives across the organization. This internship provides hands-on experience working with electric cooperative operational and advanced meter datasets, helping transform raw data into meaningful insights.
About the Role
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will assist with analyzing electric cooperative data and developing impactful visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Tableau. You’ll work with Python and other analytics tools to clean, validate, and manipulate datasets, supporting decision‑making across the cooperative.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and validate datasets following established guidelines.
- Use Python or other programming languages to manipulate data.
- Create and deliver data visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
- Analyze data processes to identify workflow improvements.
- Follow all company and department operational procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Training
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or progress toward a degree preferred.
- Training or experience with Microsoft Office, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- 0–1 year of experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective written communication.
- Comfortable collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
Work Environment
- Indoor work environment (100% of the time).
- Light physical demands and periodic use of office equipment.
